Fix Blackberry sync problems

The following steps reset the synchronization between the Blackberry and the Exchange without the need to re-activate it.

1. Go to Options
2. Select Advanced Options
3. Select Enterprise Activation
4. In the email field hold ALT and type cnfg
5. When the hidden menu appears change Wireless Sync to NO
6. Exit and Save
7. Wait 30 seconds and repeat step 4 (ALT cnfg)
8. Change Wireless Sync back to Yes
9. Exit and Save
10. After approximately 30 seconds you will see an activation status appear.

Receive confirmation that email has been received by Blackberry

Test Procedure
To perform a test using the hardware diagnostic tool on the BlackBerry smartphone, complete the following steps:
On the Home screen on the BlackBerry smartphone, Select Options / Status.
On the Status screen, TYPE test.
Note: On BlackBerry smartphones that support SureType® technology, use the multi-tap input method.
From the menu on the Device Self Test Application screen, select Start.

Blackberry: Problems scrolling left and right when in calendar

Not able to scroll left and right when in calendar (cannot change dates when in Day View)

Issue is due to Blackberry firmware bug

Resolution:

Restart BB (temp fix) or update firmware

Blackberry Bold 9000 volume problem

Volume does not sound as loud as it used to be. Issue is due to holster usage and pressing against speaker.

Resolution:

Pull speaker out (1 & 2) using finger nail. Add square pieces of duck tape (3 & 4) to create resistance and stop pushing speaker in.
